My personal vinyl record cover design shows the transformation between sound and image. Frequencies of each five tracks take a leading role in the design process. The organic shape on the front and the polygonal shape on the back of the record are both transformed the same way by all five overlaying frequencies. To create a transition from the whole album to the single track the polygonal shape breaks to pieces on the sleeve. The five symbols on the inlay are transformed by a single frequency of the specific track. All sound transformations are done in Cinema 4D using Mograph and vectorized manually for the printing process.
